Registration Information

Dear Attendee, the Registration Fee for the URSI GASS 2021 is detailed in the tables below.

The conference will be held in presence, the cost of Registration Fee is the same both as you will be present in Rome or if you will participate at distance (Online, by using a web connection).

Please note:

  • At least one author for each contribution shall register within the 20th of June 2021, for the contribution to be published in the Conference Programme and Proceedings.
  • The Registration Fee can be VAT exempt (Table B), thanks to the Italian Society of Electromagnetism (SIEm, a scientific no-profit society, https://www.elettromagnetismo.it/), co-organizer of the URSI GASS2021. The VAT-exempt fee is applicable to SIEm members.
    If you are presently not SIEm member, you can still benefit the VAT-exempt fee by applying for “ordinary SIEm membership”.
    To apply, please fill and sign this form and send it (possibly in PDF format) to ursi2021@aimgroup.eu with a message having subject “Ordinary SIEm membership application – Name, Surname”. After application approval (normally within 3 days) you can proceed with the payment of the VAT-exempt registration fee (Table B), that includes “ordinary SIEm membership” at the cost of € 25. For “Member Status” please check in the box below.
    If you are presently SIEm member, you can benefit the VAT-exempt fee as well. Please send your request by email to ursi2021@aimgroup.eu to let us check your membership position and send you the password to enter the payment page and complete the registration.

URSI DATABASE CORRESPONDING MEMBERS

On registration to an URSI flagship meeting the contact data filled in the registration form are used as an input to the URSI database of Corresponding Members which is used solely for URSI purposes. URSI Corresponding Membership will be for a period of three years at which point the URSI Corresponding Member will be invited by the URSI Secretariat to apply for Senior Membership (see https://www.ursi.org/membership.php).

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

A receipt or invoice will be issued as written confirmation of your registration by the Organizing Secretariat. Confirmation letter will be sent few weeks before the congress.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR REGISTRATIONS 

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to the Organizing Secretariat AIM GROUP INTERNATIONAL. Cancellations will be accepted until July 19, 2021 with a refund of all prepaid fees except for a 30% administration charge.
No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date.

CANCELLATION BEFORE JULY 19: 30% OF THE REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE WITHELD
CANCELLATION FROM JULY 20: NO REFUND

All approved refunds will be processed and issued 60 days after the congress.

ADMISSION

Participants are kindly requested to wear their name badge during the Meeting activities.
Please note that children are not allowed in the Congress area throughout the duration of the Meeting. In case of negligence, the organising secretariat cannot be addressed for any responsibility.

GROUP REGISTRATION

Group registrations are possible for all companies, agencies, institutions that intend to register groups of at least 5 people.
HOW TO PROCEED WITH THE REGISTRATION OF THE GROUP:

The Secretariat will manage the registrations and contact you as soon as possible to send all the relevant information about payment.

LUNCH TICKETS

The Congress is pleased to provide to all GASS 2021 participants and accompanying people the possibility of purchasing a light lunch (box lunches) for the entire period (August 28 to September 4) which will be served in the cloister close to the session buildings.
The cost for each lunch ticket per day is € 12,00 (10% Italian VAT included). The lunch ticket can be purchased in advance, through a dedicated section of the online registration procedure, or directly on-site.
This section will be soon available. Then you can enter again the registration form with your credentials and purchase lunch tickets for yourself. Further instructions will be available on the website. Please check the Important News in the HOME page.
