Call for Papers, Sessions, Workshops and Short Courses

The XXXIV General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (GASS) of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI, will take place in Rome, Italy from August 28 to September 4, 2021. The scientific programme will be organized around the ten URSI Commissions (see below) and will comprise oral sessions, poster sessions, plenary and public lectures, and tutorials, with both invited and contributed papers. In addition, there will be workshops, short courses, special programmes for young scientists, a student paper competition, programmes for accompanying persons, and an industrial exhibition. More than 1,500 scientists from more than 50 countries are expected to participate.

Scientists and researchers are invited to submit papers as well as proposals for sessions (that may include both invited and contributed papers), workshops and short courses.

Any topic concerning the scientific domains of URSI Commissions is potentially acceptable. Session/ workshop/short-course proposals covering multidisciplinary aspects will be assigned to several Commissions.

Workshops are expected to promote interactive exchanges, with enhanced organization flexibility.

Call for Paper

All papers should be submitted electronically via the link provided on the GASS 2021 web site, to be checked prior to submission regarding latest instructions, templates, and sample formats. Accepted papers presented at the GASS 2021 may be submitted for posting on IEEE Xplore, if the author chooses so.
There is a maximum of three papers that can be presented at the URSI GASS 2021 per registration.

Special note:

Authors who transfer to GASS 2021 a paper initially accepted for GASS 2020 must submit it according to the same procedure as new papers, after updating it with the corresponding GASS 2021 template.
